Excellent place to park a car for an hour or two while you are riding a bicycle. It is hidden in a forest off the street. It has a wheelchair accessible portopotty toilet. Enough room for 20 or so cars. Parking spaces are long enough for a large SUV or a pickup truck. No safety issues whatsoever. There are two benches to picknick. There is a water fountain and an air pump. Absolute love the place and the trail. It takes under an hour to get to downtown Stillwater from here by bicycle.

I just have a lot of good memories coming here and going on the trail up to Pine Point or the other direction to Edgerton. Too bad the drinking fountain wasn't working this time. We always filled up our water bottles at that fountain, me and my old biking friend (now deceased).

We parked here while we used the Gateway State Trail and biked to the Pine Point Regional Park area. The parking lot is tucked into a wooded area so watch for the small sign leading to the parking lot. It can be full on the weekends. During the week it was about half full.

It was about a 30ish car parking lot, pretty secluded, nice area. Just remember if you take the trail to Stillwater (the waterfront) it's about 10.7 miles one way. Plan accordingly.

There are many portipottys along the 11 miles one way I biked towards Stillwater. However, I didnt use any of them, I guess you'll hafto try every one. I've never seen a portipotty that has an electrical plugin, I dont think that would be sanitary.
