The breakfast service was a disgrace not only to the South but to all of humanity. I have no complaints about the employees -- it seemed that they were brutally understaffed -- but the menu, it seems, remains unchanged throughout the United States. Grits were not on offer, and ''breakfast potatoes'' were presented-- ostensibly a Yankee perversion of hash browns. Even two hours after this experience, I remain shocked to my core, disgraced and sorrowful. Is this what our Southland has become? Is this what our ancestors died for? We have not only lost our states' rights, but our accents and even our cuisine. Do not eat breakfast at the Holiday Inn in Batesville. I thank you for your time.

It was nice and clean and hospitable. This was my first time staying at Holiday Inn and many many years and I highly enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to my next stay.

We arrived very late and got a room that smelled of cigarettes. Kimberly from the night shift was very courteous and gave us another room right away. Shauna from the morning was very accommodating and gave us an extra hour to check out.

Hotel was really nice and very clean. However, the staff wasn’t the friendliest or very helpful at all. The two ladies at the check in on Wednesday was very helpful and friendly but that was about it. Phone in my room didn’t work which forced me to redress and walk down stair to inform them that my room didn’t have hot water. They did fix it very quickly… I advise to let it run for about 20 minutes before trying to shower.
