For primitive camping we enjoy this camp ground. We have been coming here every year for over 30 years. I wish they would put in a shower house and maybe a play area for kids. This year that road is under water because of high lake levels so some sites can be a challenge to get in with your camper. And I always have good luck finding walleye.

Beautiful campground. Many tree filled and spacious sites. Great views along the shoreline trail. Clean vault toilets.

Beautiful state park for camping or spending the day by the water!! Huge campsites with lots of privacy! Great spot to really get away from it all!

We are staying at a nearby resort, but have been enjoying walks and picnics in the park. It's just beautiful, with easy access to the water. Campsites look big with plenty of space between.

Good Question! I do not know the answer...Try contacting Wooden Frog Management.

Is it correct that we can leave our car parked here overnight while we are camping overnight at a campsite in Voyageur national park? We would leave it there for four nights. Our campsite is a 2.5 mile paddle from the campground

Park at the lot by the dumpster or boat landing, in the campground you would have to pay for a site. I would check with the voyagers visitor center to be sure.
