The process for applying for a home here has been frustratingly unsuccessful. They haven’t answered a single phone call of mine in the past few weeks. Only one of my emails were responded to. We’ve driven there a few times to speak in person over the last few weeks. I completed a paper application, but was advised to apply online “because it’s faster”. I went home and searched the website, but couldn’t find an online application anywhere. No response when I called and emailed for help. I went back to the office to ask for help in person. I asked them to show me exactly where to go to complete the online application, the manager and the leasing specialist looked at me and said I must’ve been doing it wrong, but still didn’t show me where to go online. Today, we were told they couldn’t submit our application because they didn’t have our materials, but we resubmitted everything via paper application, then again via email last week. I even received a response to my email saying “received”. I was given an email address to send my pay stubs to, but when I went to the office they said they didn’t know who’s email that was and completely dismissed it. Didn’t even try to figure it out. A few weeks ago, we were told we were the only people applying for the apartment we wanted. Today, we were told it’s been taken off the market because someone applied before us. Not once did anyone apologize for the negligence and confusion in the application process. Just because this community offers affordable housing doesn’t mean applicants should be allowed to be treated this way. We couldn’t finish our sentences, without getting cut off. My mom threatened to report them for their negligence and the response was “that’s fine”.

Application process monumentally slow and lacks initiative. I was forced to show up daily to demand updates because of absolutely no contact from staff. Each day was a different excuse as to why applications were not completed. Its cheaper rent in downtown charlotte, but the hurdles you have to go thru just don't seem worth it. 12/13/21 Update: I appreciate the owner of the property reaching out but honestly its a month too late. I began my search for an apartment complex mid October. The fact that no one else has even had the professionalism to reach out and apologize for how poorly my situation was handled is even more so why I won't ever step back on that property nor will ever refer it to anyone else for that matter.

Great location but clearly it’s cheaper here for a reason. … water pressure is so low I can’t wash my face in either sink…. I have a company car that I can’t park on the property unless I use my visitor pass. The call box doesn’t work so if you leave your key in your apartment you can’t get in. The people in the office started off so nice and helpful but once you move everything changes. They don’t answer the phone at all . I left a positive review and I’m sorry I had to change it . When I ask for a day pass they say they won’t do it. This review I will leave the property manger and leasing consultants name out of it but if this continues that will cha he as well

The location of the apartment is very convenient(Garage parking, Park/dog park, 7-eleven, Harris Teeter, Charlotte city center!). In fact this is the most affordable apartment in Uptown. The cleanliness and maintenance efficiency improved recently. They also returned my deposit back very quickly and smoothly(though I left the apartment extremely clean while moving out). One feedback is : Ten05 management should consider offering specials to existing tenants (with good payment history)as well (not only to complete new tenants who does not have any rent payment history!!), But overall our experience at the property was good!
