What a great experience this was for three children ages 4-7. We had a private youth lesson and my son left ready for another lesson. Lesley was informative, professional and a wonderful instructor for my son. The stables was beautiful, the arena, the location, etc. You can tell that Lesley has a love for horses that is something admirable. This was a great place for my children to continue learning about horses, but be exposed to a wonderful facility where horses are the focus of this business. We will be back as much as possible.

One of the best experiences we’ve been able to offer our 5 year old to date. We were able to text and make an appointment for a pony ride seamlessly. When we arrived at Grandfather Stables, we were greeted by the sweetest little black dog and got to pet some horses while we waited for Kristen. Kristen went over the rules with our little one and then led her on a 15+ min ride on Bubba through the arena and then outside. GS was clean, accessible, safe and all of the employees we ran into were extremely sweet and friendly. Our girl will remember this for a lifetime. We felt so welcomed and will be back again the next time we visit NC.
