Stellar spot in all aspects! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and of course the cats are a delight. I also deeply appreciate how thoroughly the website addresses any questions someone might have on their first visit! Made my experience absolutely stress-free.

What a wonderful place! We made a reservation about a month in advance when we knew we'd be visiting close to Mac Tabby. The cat room is large enough that even though there were 10 people in there, it didn't seem crowded at all. We were free to move around and visit with several of the kittens; some were sleeping, some were active and playful. I was pretty excited that we could bring toys for them as well - as soon as we got there one of them practically jumped into my bag to get the catnip mice out :) Though we didn't get anything at the cafe', I like that there was a pretty big assortment and that you could bring your selection into the cat room with you (or they'd bring it in to you if you were already there). Knowing that a small fee goes to help so many of these wonderful cats, I'd be visiting there weekly if I lived in the area. I will absolutely make another stop in the next time I'm in the area.

Loved this place- I didn't do the full five stars only because it was my first time being here and there were a lot of unsupervised kids present. I know this isn't strictly the cafes fault but I witness some children being super aggressive with the cats until they almost attacked. (Ex- shoving toys in their face, putting hands and fingers in their face when they're clearly annoyed, shoving toys in the employee only room where the litter boxes are, etc.) My only suggestion is allowing slots for people that are 18+ only, just to give older people time to unwind and interact/meet with the cats without kids present. Regardless awesome and friendly staff and great selection of drinks and cute kitties!

No, but you're better off. They cant guarantee spots unless you reserve and they fill up fast.
Yes! You can touch the kitties! We have a FAQs on our website about COVID - check it out! Thanks for asking, see you soon!
Thanks to everyone for your helpful answers! They are all correct! Thank you, Beth, for helping these innocent kittens!
Yes, there is parking but you have a little walk and you have to pay to park.
Hello! We appreciate you wanting to bring your kitty to hang out! We do not allow outside cats to come hang however - the cats we have are all vetted to be here, and up for adoption! We keep 12 at a time on location and welcome you to come visit (tell your cat all about it when you get home instead) thanks for understanding!
You can! We rent rooms by the hour. All info is on the website under RESERVATIONS. You will see the options there and also how to book!
No you cannot. You can pet them and play with them but no picking up and holding
There is a link on our website called COVID-19 that has a FAQs page about all of our practices in place to keep things safe and clean! www.mactabby.com
We are not closed. Mac Tabby is open 7 days per week! Please give us a call for help or more questions! 704-890-0373. Thanks!
All of our kitties are adoptable! We work with a local rescue who field all applications and take payment to further continue their mission. Currently, adoption fees are $155. Take a look at our website under "our cats" for a faqs page about adoptions and the process. Thanks! MacTabby.com
Cabo Fish Taco and Sabor are across the street. Boudreaux's (Cajun food) is not that far.
Hello! Our cats are vetted through our rescue partner, Catering to Cats and Dogs. Please reach out to them for further assistance! Thanks!
No
Hello! We cannot allow outside kitties into Mac Tabby due to health regulations. All of our cats are updated on shots, combo tested, flea treated, etc. We cannot guarantee the health of our animals if cats from outside of our facility come in without proper quarantine so we cannot allow this. However, our rescue, Catering to Cats and Dogs, are wonderful at giving advice on how to welcome a new cat into a household with other kitties and how to introduce them to one another. If it just "doesn't work" and the stress is too much on the cats after an intro period... we do take cats back into the Catering to Cats and Dogs foster program (for the life of the pet!) However, after following their advice, I bet you'll be totally fine and your fur babies will love each other!
We maintain 12 cats in the cat lounge :) They must be spayed/neutered, combo tested, and UTD on all shots... so we will never have tiny kittens for that reason... but plenty of teen and adult cats who are just as cute!
