AWFUL, THE NURSES WERE RUDE, CONDESCENDING SHOWED ZERO COMPASSION, I was talked down upon and belittled and targeted for reasons unknown 2 me. The nurses here are awful and power trip for no reason. They say awful things at the nurses station when they think ur not listening about patients.

I just had a Great experience in the ER today. I went in because my blood pressure was 201/105. I was very nervous, the entire staff was great from the Intake nurse to the exit nurse. I have been to my share of ER's before but this was the Best service I ever had at an ER. And now I'm going to be comparing every ER visit to this one. Great Job Atrium Health Pineville. You took good care of me Today!!

You’re better off staying home if sick or waiting to go to an Urgent Care. Staff will tell you that they are understaffed and in the middle of a shift change so you will have to wait. We weren’t even offered a wheelchair once discharged after we did not agree with their recommendations.

The staff is really friendly, but my dad has gone in twice this year - once because his blood sugar was high, and once because of a sprained ankle - and each time he ended up catching an infection within a day or two of being there. His first stay ended up lasting a month and a half, and the second was for two weeks - and they never actually examined his ankle. He has end stage cirrhosis, and they put him on four different psych meds that impact the liver. My dad doesn't take any psych meds, and has never been diagnosed with depression or Alzheimer's - he was on meds for both. They said that they put him on the medication because that's what his medical record said he was on, but: 1.) They spoke with my sister at the beginning of his stay and she told them his current medication regimen; and 2.) He was just in the hospital last month and they didn't have him on the meds at that time. All of the meds should not be quit cold turkey, but when they released him, they did not prescribe him anything since they thought he had the medication at home, so now we're just kind of crossing our fingers that he doesn't have withdrawal.

Sorry to hear that. Let them know with constructive criticism. They are good people
They are in severe need of more help & room! Waiting 330-9:15, 7 1/2 hrs for a sick elderly person is unheard of & there setting themselves up for a lawsuit. I'd go to a Witch Doctor before I would return to this mess!
Yes the deck is open. The first and second floor are primarily for patients and visitors.
Tipping is a gross remnant of American slavery (google it) & should be done away with altogether Tipped staff like servers live under oppressive power imbalances that promote abuse, burnout, and profiling Last thing we want is to turn our most treasured caretakers into a begging class of servants that provide care based on how likely they think you are to help them make rent I believe you have the best intentions, in no way fault you for asking, but despite most people not knowing the history, tipping IS a toxic system rooted in racism; as someone that has worked for tips, I was sadly unsurprised to learn of its origins, how like so many of our nation's problems, it started with racism & slavery and built to maintain the status quo Btw, there is a solution... pay these people more, more people would do it if so, and it'd be less stressful for them, not being shorthanded, but that requires unlikely reforms and people speaking up for fair treatment. Tip your waitstaff! Push for reform!
I am fine as long as I have my own space where I am being tended to, HOWEVER most of the evaluation rooms do not have the privacy as a regular admitted patient and our insurance should not be billed as such. These poor nurses are thrown where ever they are needed and not all departments run exactly the same, so it can be tough all the way around.
Till eight pm, not sure what time in the morning
Look at the hospital website and they can give you the office numbers of the docs that work there. If it's urgent, go to the emergency department.
I'm off today..call front desk CMC Pineville before 5 mon thru Friday they can.connect u with medical records to obtain fax num
The hospital is open 24 hours a day.
Kare, I am sorry to hear about your health. Unfortunately you are directing your questions to Google maps not the hospital. I don't think the hospital staff monitor this. I would try calling the hospital directly. Good luck with your health issues.
Usually they will have ems bring you home. At least that is what I seen
You should be allowed to go. Offer your cell number as a way to be reached in case they need you sooner or something comes up. Always come back 15 mins before scan time.
Apply online and because they have so many online applications submitted, it probably wouldn't hurt to visit the human resources in the building across from the main entrance.
