MD Anderson , Dr. Samiian and her entire surgical staff were all amazing. I am so blessed that she was my surgeon. Not only was she amazed at whT she dies, she is a straight shooter with an amazing bed side manner.

It has been a wonderful experience with Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center. Everyone from registration to the lab has been a pleasure to talk to. The calls and text messages before appointments to make sure I've done what I needed and as a reminder is great. Dr. Lael Stieglitz take the time to make sure I understand the results, treatment, and next steps. I would and have already recommend Dr. Lael Stieglitz to a few friends and coworkers that are dealing with Urology care. Post My Review on Google COMPLETE

There's the DoubleTree, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Extended Stay America. Plenty of hotels in the few miles east of the center.
My experience was great. Every one was so nice and educated me on what all needed to be done.
No. Baptist hospital ER is located a few blocks away.
Yes.. people be coming from as far as Indiana
We spent the entire day and the following day with appointments. However, each cancer type and patient is treated individually. I'm sorry this isn't more specific, but rest assured that whatever tests and specialist is required, you will have access to them. Our day was spent with financial services, patient intake, bloodwork, consult with the main specialist and two supporting doctors. The following day, we met for more bloodwork and some more consults to plan for the treatments to come.
Usually a referral from primary care or diagnosing physician. Main number is 202-7300
Sorry about your or your person's situation. Please contact MDA directly over the phone to begin your journey. Stay strong!
I'm not sure where your are going but that seems harsh as I know of today the last say is the lords. I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer which is all in my bones I know its termal but I claimed it at the beginning I had a higher calling and MD Anderson never said anything about death. But with my therapy ther my cancer is not metabolic active. So hang in there and get second opinion there are medications that can extend life
Hi Joyce, I am employee of BMDACC, unfortunately we do not provide transportation for our patients at this time. However, many of our patients in need of transportation are able to arrange this through their insurance company. There are also transportation systems in the county that will take patients to and from their appointments! In any case, we do have social workers whom I am sure will be happy to assist the patient in arranging transportation! I hope this helps!
So you can see if you get same results?
Sorry can't help.
I found this "Baptist MD Anderson follows the ADA guidelines. For the safety of all our cancer patients, emotional support dogs or pets are not allowed because of our immune comprised population. If the dog is a registered service animal that perform functions that a disabled individual cannot perform on their own, then they will be allowed."
Michael - Thank you for your question. Yes, we do. We have more information on our website www.BaptistMDAnderson.com or feel free to contact us 1-844-632-2278 and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Yes they do have parking attached. Certain times of day you may have to circle through a couple times to find lower level parking, but I 've always found a spot on the first level if you allow an extra 5 minutes or so to your travel time. Unlike some hospitals, Baptist and their affiliates don't charge for parking.
Yes, I have Medicare and a secondary insurance. I've never experienced any problems or been charged for anything above what my insurance covers.
No
Building will be on your right. There is parking lot at building although it is crowded due to construction but never a lack of space just a little more of a walk.
A day or two before MRI. They prefer 2- 3 days before in case there's a glitch. Lab is open during normal Hospital hours, although when I inquired later, they were still doing business.
