Ive gone to several other scrap yards in town and I personally have a not had one bad visit here at Quick stop. Your people are very helpful very respectful and if anyone claims to have had a bad experiance here i would question there attitude and the way they conduct themselves. As a matter of fact i will be there when the gates open in the morning. The only day I can go is saturdays so i build my pile up then hall it in.

You need to bring the empty trailer (No Boat), when you get here let the scale operator know what you need and the guys down front will help you. This is a free service we do for the community.
No, we do not. We are strictly Metal Recycling.
Yes
No. The only Vacuums that we purchase are the old metal one without the bag attached.
No. We are a metal Recycling facility, however we do not except box springs.
Should be
We are a Metal Recycling Company. The Plastic Recycling is Jacksonville Recycling and as far as I am aware there are no glass recycling companies in Jacksonville.
You have to work hard at it just to make a little money.but you will never get rich
The price ranges depending on the type of copper. Please call for pricing. 904-358-2460
Yes. 8:00-1:00
Yes we purchase them by the pound. Please call Monday for pricing.
No
Yes, we recycle e-scrap, however we do not take monitors, keyboards, the mouse, and/or printers. We purchase all material by weight, except the CPU chips inside the computer and we purchase those by the piece. Thank you
We do take washers and driers and you can bring them as is.
We are a metal recycling company. I don’t know of any glass recyclers.
We do, however it depends on what kind of compressors. Sealed Units from an A/C? AIr Compressors?
They are regulated. You need to provide us proof of ownership to sell. Receipt of new unit, ac company letterhead approval for the unit, etc. These buys are also mailed checks, not cash sales.
Only for cans
Everything depends on the weight and the shredder price at the time. I've never scrapped a car at this particular place, but I know that CMC Recycling on Lane Ave requires that you remove the battery, drain all fluids, and make a fist sized hole in the gas tank. Then they pay $7.50 per hundred pounds. So it's pretty simple math, and that way you will have some idea of what you will get. I'm just not sure what the policies are at this specific scrap yard.
Yes they buy brass
Never taken a battery. But Emerson battery would be better bet for you on those.
