I was going to this shop for 2 years, and now my time of paying for hair braiding services has ended. NeNe is very professional. She is fast with braiding and does it neat. The last time I went to the shop for myself, another woman was left to finish my micro braids. It was not neat and frizzy the next day whereas the scissors were used here and there on a few braids. My 9 year old daughter had her box braids done by NeNe…..perfect the 1st visit. I brought her in a second time recently, and her hair was done by a woman with glasses and short hair I never saw in the shop before. My daughter was crying because she was using the smallest comb for her thick, kinky hair. The lady was comparing my child who is "tender headed" with another child in the shop to my daughter. She also stated if my daughter kept flinching she will refuse her service. We don't want it. Charge was less than what was quoted so I was going to leave in silence and never return. Might I add, for medium box braids it took this woman 4 hours….NeNe would have done it in less than 2. She was constantly on the phone stopping to dial out….and stopping to watch videos and laughing. I complained to NeNe by phone. I did not want my daughter's hair half done by complaining while in the process of being done being that I had no off days to be searching if it needed to be finished before school resumed. After it was done, my daughter said that lady was mean and hurt my feelings. I complained about the unprofessionalism. There were apologies about hurt feelings, and I love NeNe's braiding…..but we shall take our money to another shop. Lastly, the woman did not do the parting I asked for. I had time to speak on my off day.

Great experience. All of the ladies were very nice. My daughter had her hair braided with cornrows in the front and box braids in the back. It looks very nice and took no time. I got Senegalese braids. Also took very little time. Two people worked on my hair. Reasonably priced. I attempted to schedule the appointment via text which took a couple of days of back and forth so I wouldn’t recommend scheduling that way.
