Best campground ever! The campsite is perfect and is in a good condition. The bathroom is also nice. Andrew is a good host and we will definitely come back again.

This place was way more than accommodating!! My husband and I had spent a week camping and exploring as much as we could of the U.P. On our way home we found we needed a place to stay for the night. Every campground around was cash based. And we were fresh outta cash and only had card. Lucky for us my husband found this amazing place! We called the owner and discussed our situation. He was more than happy to help and he had a way for us to pay with card!!! He was very kind and even drove out to help us set up and got our camper hooked to electricity!!! If I could rate this higher I would! There was a full working bathroom, with a cool shower head!!! (It changes colors ❤️)

We had a great experience here. Stopped part way to our destination for the night. It was truly that easy and convenient, "just show up". The kids were much happier breaking up the drive. We will definitely stay again.

This campground was a complete disaster when me and my husband arrived for a week long Getaway. With that said to start at the beginning my husband was contracted by the owner to design a large road sign for his campground. MY husband owns a small graphics business and has been a graphic designer for over 22yrs., and is very well know in our hometown as very reliable, dependable, affordable and greatly talented. He spent 2 months or more working with this owner and always staying in contact with him. Exchanging emails, phone calls etc... When we arrived at the campground and possibly going to Exchange some of my husband's work for a discount on our camping stay, we couldn't believe our eyes. The campsites were not accessible with our truck, being that we have a truck tent and our truck couldn't get to any of the 2 or 3 sites. The bathrooms/ showers looked literally like the Bates Motel! To scary to describe. Junk all over the so called campground, no access to water unless you cross the highway. And when the owner finally showed up after almost an hour to speak with him, he drove up and greeted us with no shirt on. Not very impressive or professional in my eyes. After all of this, we decided not to stay for obvious reasons and moved on to another campground which was beautiful. To top it off, when we returned home and my husband sent him an invoice for all the many, many hours of design for his appox. 4x8 sign he still has not replied to him, nor has he paid for all the time my husband invested . I don't know how the other reviews managed to say anything positive about this campground, but it is not or should not be considered for camping. Sincerely, Very Disappointed Traverse City
