Nurse and doctors were great. But with my mother with only days or hours left the security was rude and continues to find ways to nit pick, harass and belittle family that came to visit. The six of use were driving back and fourth hours each way to have to spend time fighting with them everytime. Then have them try to stop anyone from going back up.

I'd give 5 stars for the doctors. But Putnam Hospital is a bit chaotic.

Psych unit was the worst hospital I've ever been in. In fact, it was significantly worse than anything I could have imagined existing in a modern country. I was admitted during winter, the heaters were all broken on the unit so we had to use blankets. Normally this wouldn't be a pain, but the staff takes your blanket as punishment if you become upset. They'll also steal your belongings such as books, drawings, cards etc. A couple of them seemed particularly interested in watching me dedicate and shower. There's 1 tv, bout 10 channels, no windows, no art program, you can't go outside, food was decent, psychiatric team is surprisingly incompetent. Overall only thing I gained was 3 pounds and cynicism. 0/10

Dr Manchester is one of the worst physicians you could have. My fiancée was directed to come back to the ER after being admitted. he proceeded to tell her she was fine and after i put my opinion in he proceeded to ask me if i was a physician. He was very hostile and did the bare minimum. It was one of the worst things i’ve ever seen happen in health care. I do not recommend this hospital nor this physician he also threatened to call security on me because i started recording because he was yelling at my fiancée

In all of the departments I’ve been in (which are many)- they do! Don’t take my word for it exactly, I’m only 99% sure and do not work at the hospital. ☺️
