This place is just bad. Receptionist was not friendly and they really need to allow patients to check in online. There were two people in the waiting room and I was told the wait was 2-3 hours! I explained that I can't wait that long and her response was "then maybe you should go to the emergency room". I was shocked. Aren't these clinics intended to be an option to the emergency room in the first place? Waiting an hour or so is no problem but 2 or 3 is unacceptable. At least let people check in online and allow them to be there within 30 minutes of their appointment time. If Great Clips can do it, I'm sure MedExpress could.

trash service, wouldn’t recommend if you need anything taken care of. Older lady behind the counter treated me like i was stupid bc I was sick and couldn’t get the words out fast enough. she decided to do hand motions signaling me to hurry up and tell her. Than she told me i needed to go back out to my car and register and it would be a two hour wait. it’s suppose to be URGENT CARE. whole place is trash, go somewhere else

What types of COVID-19 testing does MedExpress offer?

MedExpress Urgent Care | Oct 7, 2021
MedExpress Urgent Care | Oct 7, 2021

MedExpress is offering COVID-19 evaluations and testing at designated centers to help support our local communities' health care needs amid the pandemic. In order to ensure individuals receive the highest-quality care and treatment, all individuals seeking care at MedExpress for known or suspected COVID-19 cases will receive an examination by a MedExpress health care professional who will determine if testing is needed and which testing method may be most appropriate, including rapid antigen and laboratory send-out PCR COVID-19 testing. Please note that for the most accurate COVID-19 test results, the CDC and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) recommend that individuals who are not showing symptoms, but who have had close contact with an individual who has tested positively for COVID-19, wait five to seven days after the known exposure to get a COVID-19 test. Additionally, the CDC and AAFP recommend self-quarantining for 14 days after a known exposure to COVID-19, even if no symptoms are present.

Hello -- MedExpress can provide COVID-19 testing for travel considerations, however, we would recommend reaching out to the center you plan to visit to with any requirements that you might have. Due to the increased demand for COVID-related visits amidst the pandemic, our wait times to be seen may be longer than usual at some of our centers. Thank you so much for your patience and partnership as we work together to meet the testing needs in our communities.

Good question. Timing may vary depending on the volume of tests being performed by our commercial lab partner, but, at this time, it currently takes around 3-7 days for patients to get results. If you were tested at a designated MedExpress testing center and are awaiting your results, a member of our team will call you once we receive the results.
