I had a surgery scheduled and asked the day before if I needed a babysitter and I was told no that my baby could come in with my fiancé. I get inside the guy at the desk yells at us for having our son. They finally let us go up to the same day floor, the nurse tells us we can’t have our son. I explained that I called yesterday and was told I could have him. We get back to my room and a supervisor comes in and says my fiancé needs to wait in my car with my son while I have surgery because they don’t allow babies. The supervisor stared at me like I was dumb as I was crying explaining that I was told he could come and I was scared to be alone for surgery. She shrugs and says “we’ll get you dressed in post op he’ll just be in the car.” So after over a month of waiting for my surgery, an hour+ drive, and taking a week off of work I had to leave without getting my surgery done all because someone told me I could bring my baby. Complete lack of empathy, everyone was beyond rude, the check in lady at the same day surgery desk was screaming at her mom on the phone while I waited to check in. I’ve never had such a terrible experience at a hospital or doctors office. Now they’re not even sure they can reschedule my surgery. If I could give less stars, I definitely would.

This place is dangerous and very unprofessional I suggest if you have any kind of surgery that needs to be done go to Geisinger if you care for your life because this place is dangerous.

Worst hospital in the world these “doctors” can’t even perform any kind of surgery correctly they will literally kill you doing something simple STAY AWAY!!!!!
