Winter Storm

Let me tell you... I have been going to Dominican salons for at least 30 years now, and I have watched some of them do natural hair.( Hence me always being afraid to go natural) Most people would come out looking crazy in my opinion, it just didn't have that laid look. Enter the pandemic, no more relaxer hit. The time I was finally able to go to the salon I went to Martha's. I hadn't been there in years because my stylist left. So now I've got this bundle of new growth, can they really work this? I get in the chair and snip, snip here and there. Blow the roots as if I had a relaxer, flat iron, snip, snip here and there. I run my hands through my mid back hair. That shyt is laid beautifully.!!!! ❤️️ You would swear I just got my hair relaxed. Miracle worker. So it turns out that I thought I had 4 C hair, (hell! that's what it is in my mind) it's 4A/B go figure. So maybe that's why it lays so well, or she's just one hell of a miracle worker. I think she's just one hell of a miracle worker..But it's beautiful and that's why can't no one else touch my hair!

This was by far the worse experience I've had getting a Doobie. I had to constantly tell them how it should be done. They are used to blowing the hair and not rolling it. Blow drying the hair with an Extremely HOT dryer and then using the Flat Iron is entirely too much heat.
