Never expected good BBQ in Indiana. I just got back from visiting famous bbq places in Atlanta and Memphis (won't call out the names...but you know who they are), and Bandanas is right up there (actually...better than most)! Smoked brisket, bbq beans, fried okra, and garlic bread, for only $9.99! (I ordered the small portion of brisket, but it was plenty.) Keshuan, my server, could not have been nicer or more efficient and accommodating. I highly recommend Bandanas!

EXTREMELY unprofessional. Ordered ahead on their website. Stood in the front for 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. A girl asked my name and then just didn't come back. The manager came over about 10 minutes after that because there were 3 people standing with me and again asked for my name. After about 10 more minutes I asked if they even had my order because about 6 togo orders had left. The manager again asked my name and clarified my order. I was assured they were working on it. 15 minutes later and several more orders out, I got up and went to find the manager. Finally my food was ready after sitting there for 45 minutes. If you lost my ticket then say that so I can decide if I want to wait, don't make me sit there for 45 minutes and act like that's normal. Just on that I would never go back there again.

I gave Bandana’s 5 stars for effort. On a totally slammed Monday night they were out of RIBS! Very kindly made up a yummy platter of smoked chicken & pulled pork. Sides of simmered green beans and baked beans were more than adequate. The sweet potato fries were shoestring thin and nicely crisped. Tried the fried catfish in cornmeal, and while not the best ever, it hit the spot if your in the catfish mood. Moist inside and very crispy outside. If your a fan of Bandana’s step on up and help them find staff! Pay is decent and they’re good folks.(I wasn’t paid to say that).

We went for a quick, small meal, on the go. Ordered from the "budget buster" part of the menu. Smaller portion, smaller price. I had the rib meal. Potato salad and deep fried okra was good. Received only two ribs though. Mariah was a great server. Came back several times to check on us, and offered refills on our drinks. Variety of bbq sauce on the table. Spicy, and sweet were really good.
