When my contractor came to give me an estimate for work needed per the E3 Power Energy Audit, he said the report was one of the best he's ever seen. Very professional and thorough.

And if you are reading beyond the nonsense - The VERY SAME ANALYSIS was scheduled FOR FREE - vs. $500 charge - for the following Monday by a local HVAC Contractor. Save your money if you are put in this position. ********************************************************************** Update: Apparently, details are important response validation. Mr Wildenberg did show up on my doorbell camera at 10:18A, not 10:30A as he's stated. Normally, this would be preferable, right? However, this is after rescheduling (via e-mail) to 10:30A from the original schedule of 9:30-10A because he had to drop his personal car and pick up a rental car. So, calling from my driveway at 10:37A with no sign of Mr. WIldenberg (he left prior to 10:28A) is not acceptable for a client, but perfectly acceptable for this business. See e-mail images as reference to timestamps, as stated as well as additional opened garage door with permission to get started in a separate email. Unfortunately, after his reply below I'm further convinced on the lack of customer service and reason for the 1 star. ******************************************************************** Andrew Wildenberg (impressive resume online at least) was recommended by my architect to perform an HVAC sizing for a home addition. Hate to be the reviewer who did not have a great experience, but was not shown the customer service noted by other reviewers. Sparing the details here, as I'm sure there's 3 sides to the story - I will suggest that the onboard process be more thorough for future customers including; scope of work, a contract, and from a customer service perspective - extend clients the same courtesy you were afforded by accommodating personal schedule changes for your professional schedule. Work NOT performed - so no comment possible. I would NOT recommend based on non-performance of above stated reasons.

Chose this company to do a home energy audit. Very satisfied. Jeremy was very knowledgeable and explained everything throughout the process. Both he and Andy were also very responsive. We received detailed reports with pictures. And with the Xcel Energy rebate, reasonable cost for time spent and information provided. Highly recommend E3Power.

Andy worked diligently to ensure Xcel came out to diagnose our metering problems. Andy and Xcel found major issues with our electrical panel and discovered we've been severely over-billed for years. I recommend Andy for any electrical analysis! Thank you Andy!!!!

Questions & Answers

Meghan Cook | Sep 16, 2022
E3 Power | Sep 16, 2022

A lot of energy is spent heating and cooling your house and unfortunately a fair amount of that energy leaks through holes in your building envelope. If you do some serious air sealing work, you can expect to net about 11% in annual energy savings.

What is infrared diagnostic testing?

E3 Power | Sep 7, 2022

It consists of a thorough visual inspection of a home, including the basement, attic, and all the nooks and crannies, with an infrared camera or another infrared assessment device. This pinpoints the drafts and the leaky spots within a home, gets the exact temperature of various spots within the home and providing the homeowner, with a precise visual representation of the imperfections in your home's thermal envelope.

What is a whole house energy audit?

Meghan Cook | Aug 8, 2022
E3 Power | Aug 8, 2022

A whole home energy audit is one of the first steps to understanding your home's energy usage, as well its overall health and performance. Using a combination of high tech tests and common sense evaluations, a whole home energy audit provides homeowners with a list of energy and money saving steps, explains how and why your house is costing you money, then prioritizes steps to take to knock down those costs over the long haul.
