Staff are awesome and very helpful! Great route setting and they change it up often enough to keep it fresh. Auto-belays are big plus if you want to solo top rope. Worth checking out, especially if you're in the area.

Compared to other gyms, this is a bit worn down but the routes are always stellar, tough and the staff is always great. Big fan of the chill atmosphere.

Could I bring my granddaughters to try rock climbing? They are 7 and 4. If so, what is the cost? Karen from Parker

Yes. Great place to take kids. You'll probably need to attach the autobelay and also rent gear

I have a 4 year old grandson who loves to climb and a 2 year old granddaughter who is always trying to keep up...would this be an appropriate space for both of them to have fun?

Hi Anne! Sometimes you never know until you bring them in to try it out. In my experience, most 2 year olds need more time to get used to being in a harness. While our gym doesn’t have a “kid section,” we do have some kid friendly routes. We are a self sufficient gym, meaning the kids will require adult supervision… but we will give you an orientation and make sure you know how to assist them. We also do not staff the gym with belayers, but they could use the auto-belays. There is no age restriction, but they must weigh at-least 22 pounds to use those. I say it’s worth a shot and see how it goes! Good luck. You can always call us if you have more questions.

What sort of range of grades do they have here, for sport or bouldering?

James Stringer | Oct 7, 2020
Greg Browning | Oct 7, 2020

For bouldering, mostly V0-V8, but there will be some up to V11. Sport, you will find 5.5 up to 5.12+

You have to pass the lead test in order to lead at the gym.

My Daughter is pretty good at what she won't to go there. For her birthday how much is it?and is it safe?

Amy Watlers | Oct 8, 2018

Firstly, give them a call for costs in parties. They change sometimes. And secondly, they are extremely safe. I used to be on their youth varsity team many years ago. I still stop by on occasion. Safety seems to be their first priority, and I know for a fact that they keep all of their gear in the best possible condition.
