Employees are absolutely lazy. Was told "too short staffed" for title and plates even though there was more than 8 of them in the building and hardly any people here. Then the lady tried to tell me they won't know if Springfield would get back to them fast enough for the plates and title transfer so they can't do it.. I'm reporting this location to the BBB I'm tired of this. Especially with the "appointment only" to get my ID renewed. Really sick of this. I ended up going to the currency exchange and got plates and title transfer in less than 10 mins. The dmv is a joke. The currency exchange I went to only had 2 people

This is the most inhumane place I've been to I asked for a refund because they charged it to my uncle's license which wasn't mine when I came in they screamed at us swore at us and basically escorted out we were too scared to say anything because of the outrageous behavor I'll never go here again and if you do make sure you check the screen because the reciptionist isn't very bright and the manager is a very rude mean older lady which isn't willing to help you with the "it's not my job"attitude

Glad 2 be a senior. Didn't know we needed an appointment till we got there. Then the officer told us if you're a senior U can walk in, no appointment needed. That was nice, wanted 2 get my Real ID the same time I had 2 renew driver's license; didn't know we needed Soo many documents 2 prove who we R, so will have 2 go back sometime in the future. Crazy all the proof ya need!

The woman you have seated at the door this afternoon to "greet" ppl has to one of the rudest ppl I've encountered a while. She barked at me that I had to have an appointment, and when I stated I was here for a sticker renewal, which as posted, I don't need an appointment for, she rudely gestured to the counter and said " go wait over there". All I had done when I walked in was get 2 feet in and look for a sign or wait to speak to her if I didn't see one. The rude way she barked at me that I needed an appointment without knowing I had one or was there for a service that didn't require one was way out of line. I thought she was just like that with everyone until I witnessed how nicely she greeted the next 3 ppl that came in after me and was very nice and welcoming to them. I see the reputation of rude employees followed to this location. Good to know, back to the Ottawa location for every thing again. The person who actually helped me was polite enough, but that woman at the door needs new ppl skills

Took 3 hrs to do a title switch, when I got to the counter the toner ran out so they gave me a pass for the next day, the next day took another 2 hours. I was in and out for cdl medical card renewal.
