Tech support appointments allow you to skip the walk-in traffic and be served ahead of people who did not make appointments. By the very nature of tech support, however, there is no real way to predict how long it will take to solve your or other people's issues - simple things are usually handled at the door, so if it makes it to the genius bar, it's probably going to take time to properly diagnose and fix those issues. The average time is about a half an hour per person, and from what I've observed, reps genuinely try to work efficiently, but there's no real way to answer this question without knowing the exact reason and solution for the three or four appointments ahead of yours. I do not work for Apple, but I do work in tech support. Just a little inside perspective. Try to cut them a break, and schedule your appointment on a day with few other obligations. 🙂

I updated my 6 as well. Can’t send messages to anyone if hey do not have an iPhone. Only when I have WiFi calling activated will that work...but then I have to be hooked up to WiFi.. and then when on WiFi calling can’t access email. Following to see what answer you may get. Good luck

The wait time is usually an hour or so. I would just drive to Boulder and then you'll be able to talk to someone in person.
That is not true, I have a iphone6 that needed a battery replacement....it cost me over 35 dollars but it got done in about an hr
I need to make an appointment. While my iPhone 6 is unplugged after about 15 min or so the screen turns white with the apple logo blinking on and off until completely dead.
As of December 8, 2017, they cost $159 + sales tax. Same price as from online store.
