My experience with Dreyer’s DKI was frustrating. We were overcharged for the mitigation service, and the repair service was subpar. The first on-call employee to arrive at our home was polite but did not begin the mitigation process until we initiated a homeowner's insurance claim. I later realized this set up the ability to nickel and dime us. I thought the employee was courteous to put on a face mask to enter my home, place booties over his shoes because it was raining, and stick around until the mitigation crew arrived. That courtesy cost $25.52 in PPE charges and $50.75/hr for personnel charges. To give another example of the trivial charges that go to the insurance, our bill included a line item to drill holes in our wall for $0.56/hole (on top of the hourly labor). Lastly, the mitigation equipment was on site for less than 72 hours, but we were charged for four days. When the accounting staff finally admitted this was an error, they refused to correct it because that portion of the bill had already been paid by my insurance. On the repair side of the work, the only available employee to do repairs failed to do the agreed upon work in the first visit. When he came back to complete the job, he literally swept a pile of paint scrapings behind the base molding that he had not attached to the wall. Additionally, the repair bill included charges for materials that were not used. I failed to receive direct responses to my questions about the billing over three months of emails, at which point they seemed to give up and waived the remainder of my bill. I received four emails about leaving a Google review (and that person’s time was probably built into the bill, too), so I am here to say that I would avoid Dryer’s DKI if you have other options.

They advertise on their digital sign outside that they offer work for licensed & insured handyman /subcontractors, I’ve called twice in same week left two voicemails with (Karen) and have yet to hear back . So I call the office for the third time , letting them know that I haven’t heard back from Karen , and the ladys response was “that’s not my department so I’ll transfer you “ , instantly hangs up before I could say anything else . Most un professional company /employees I’ve ever dealt with .

Desmond helped clean up and dry my laundry room when the washer valve wouldn’t shut off. Very professional and quick response time.
