Three generations of my family have enjoyed Gabe’s for over 20 years! Gabe set the standard for delicious chicken and waffles. He laughed when I used to order both at the same time, but it was a hit! Now his lovely wife and daughter continue the personal touch with every meal served. The staff is both friendly and focused on getting each guest exactly what they ordered. The food is great and the service is wonderful. Golfers, neighbors, visitors from near and far are greeted with big smiles! Arrive early and be ready to take a box home because the servings are quite generous!

Reasonably priced with a menu that has something for everyone. Chorizo Benedict was good, a different take on the standard ham benedict. Hollandaise could have been spicier to compliment it though. Home fries were tasty and made to order as I requested. Waitress was pleasant and attentive. Decor inside felt like I was eating at my grandparents house, homey and inviting.

My Dad has been going there for a very long time... he took us there the other day and I was amazed at the amount of food and the quality of the food. We got A LOT for the money. Oscar took good care of us even joining in to help clean up a water spill because of my daughter. Its a good value and a great atmosphere. I live in Portage so Its a haul to get here... but I'm definitely coming again!
