Most of the time, which is the key here, McCormick Park is a wonderful place to stop and sit by the creek, have a little picnic and enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately as they’re building new homes in this area it’s becoming more and more used which means lately there have been a lot of loud groups along the creek. It’s still a wonderful place to go but sometimes it’s not as peaceful or zen like as it could be.

There are decent sized fish. They stock the area a few times a year.
We go in at messiah College, and get out at Mccormick. It's just about a 3 hour float.
Been coming here for years with kids. Its a great place. Gets busy at times. Safe for kids of all ages. But of course..... You must keep an eye on them.
