The erap program is poorly ran. They need more workers for the amount of people asking for help. The lines are out the door and they are backed up on paperwork over a month. They have to do better and have a better system in place.

I hate how they handle Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). They did great in a case of a homeless person. Approved in 5 days.But there is no info about Rental choices. A lot of times you are being misinformed. And seems like places don't want to work with ERAP.

Have reached out to several individuals dozens of times in regards to receiving payment for the guests that were residing at the SureStay Plus Hotel Elizabethtown but am yet to hear back from anyone or receive any type of payment.

It's honestly a waiting game. You can be on the waiting list for section 8 or look into Mod Rehab. There are no quick solutions though. If you're a homeless single parent that has spent 1 night on the street on in a car, they consider you quicker.
