I consider myself a sausage gravy connoisseur. As my favorite dish, I've had it at over a hundred places all over the country - from the basic Bob Evans to some stuff that I watched a little old lady prepare from scratch in Oklahoma. The sausage gravy over *cheddar biscuits* at this place is absolutely the best I've ever had. The biscuits kick it up a notch in a way I can't explain - it may be the greatest thing I've ever put in my mouth. Please don't tell my wife! In addition, everything else was great, too. The sticky bun was exceptional, the bacon thick cut and local. Locally distilled spirits, a cool atmosphere, and great service rounded out the package. If you're in Lancaster on a Sunday morning, this is absolutely where you want to eat.
