Great place to take young children on a rainy day
Kaitlyn Strausser
It was fun but very small. We thought there would be more to do but we did enjoy the activities that we got to do.

First be sure to schedule a time online before going. Masks are not required but staff does wear them. It is recommended for ages 2 and up but my daughter is 19months and had a blast. So much stuff for her to do. I noticed a color coded sign for different levels but as we went to different areas I didn't see a color code. There's a market where older kids can get a bag, read the card and fill bag with what the card says. Farm area has corn, tractor, hen house, barn with hay bales. There's a cow to teach about milking but it was broken. A huge construction area that all ages would enjoy. I found neat for older kids boards that explained different jobs, the tools and even salary, like carpenter, or painter. There's a nursing mothers area as well. Gift shop when you come in. They have bins to put toys that children but in their mouths. They could use a lid on them or be attached to the wall as I noticed little ones grabbing the toys out and throwing them then adults picking up and mixing with rest of toys. It was a fun time and not crowded for a rainy day. Outdoor play area was not a lot to it but had some neat things and was open area. Some areas roped off as they need repairs.

This place was great, my son had tons of fun exploring all the different areas and playing with all the setups.

Hand on House is great for toddlers. So many of their activities are at their eye and reach level. I found the honeycomb was a favorite of many children. It was fun watching the little ones in the grocery store.
