This humane society was absolutely wonderful, kind and knowledgeable. My kitten was born there and was with his mother. The humane society sent him home with a couple of toys that smelled like the society to make the transition easier. 😍 My only hesitation was the dog room was very vocal and it frightened that young children I was with. Be sure to set the correct expectations with your children prior to going in or your kids will freakout. I can't wait to adopt my next pet from here.

There are a lot of good resources out there but wanted to share Wild Heart WildLife Rescue as a wonderful contact for a licensed non-profit wildlife rehabbing group.
