The water was absolutely disgusting. For a state park you would think it would be required for them to at least have a handle on the situation. Dead fish floating all in the lakes. I heard a women tell her child to “just go pee in the water” . Like terrible experience . 0/10 WOULD NOT RECCOMEND swimming there. Now they have a lot of other excellent things to do is why this is a 2 star review .

The boat docks, sugar camp, and the dam are all good places for fishing.
The park is open all year no cost to drive around and explore the area some parts of the park maybe under construction as the fall and winter are the best time to update these parts.
