Our family of 6 went on the moderate trail ride. We are all beginners and we all loved it. The horses were calm and obeyed commands. The guides were friendly and helpful. The prices were midrange but definitely a great value for this company. I highly recommend!

My kids and I had such a great time! I have a seven-year-old daughter and a five-year-old son who got to share riding one horse (since it was just me to steer the horse). I was able to walk the horse myself and we got as long as we wanted with him (Scout), which ended up being about an hour. Very personalized.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Nation Road Horse Rental this past weekend. Everyone we encountered was professional and friendly. The horses are well taken care of and great trail riding horses. We loved the Halloween decorations on part of the trail as well as the gorgeous Fall leaves! We hope to bring our grandson soon and highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience a great trail ride.

Cost depends on which trail you choose to ride, we have 5 trails to choose from. All riders must be 8 years or older to ride the trails and there is a 230lb weight limit on riders. For kids, ages 3-8, we offer Parent-Assisted Pony rides.
We offer guided trail rides through open fields and wooded paths! We have 3 trails to choose from...… a 30 minute trail, an hour minute trail and a 1 1/2 hour trail.
We offer a 1 1/2 hour "moderate" trail for $55/rider. We also offer a 1 1/2 hour "advance" trail for $65/rider
Our 30 minute trail is $25/rider.

Hi Kathryn. Yes, we do offer western riding lessons for kids and adults. Kids ages 6-7 will have 2 Spring sessions to choose from lasting 3 weeks each, once a week on Mondays. Kids ages 8-17 will have a Spring session and a Fall session. Each session is 7 weeks long, once a week on Mondays. We also offer adult lessons.
