had surgery on foot after fall. last June. It is still swollen and red. Was treated for bone infection. I was cleared of that in December. Think it might be back. Marge

I am 80 years old and in June 2018 I fractured my fifth metatarsal while playing tennis. I was in a boot for six weeks and currently have a non union which prevents me from athletic activities. Is there a remedy?

Hi John, There definitely are solutions to this. Possibly a bone simulator to even surgery. I would need to see your x-rays and review your history to come up with the best treatment plan for you. Best, KG
