I don't even know where to start , but something needs to change and fast they ruined my old account , during a temporary move and they cameout to the temporary place to set up, after a week they got nothing done after 4 techs and supervisor tech and spoke to over 20 people and a supervisor on the phone and then went to the Norwalk store because after I canceled, I would receive back to back bills and never got service established and then they would send first bill for $133 and after I spoke to them in the Norwalk store about the $133 bill and the said they took care of it I would later that day after they closed I would receive another bill for $340.00 all after never getting any service established and then leaving my mother and I to lose income and miss important appointments that need to be done on PC , It got so bad I've had to, borrow my WIFI from a neighbor , before this I was a optimum customer since dial-up and my most recent account had been only $26 a month with the ACP program and they destroyed it all , I could go on for days about what Optimum has done to me as great customer.

I keep getting a bill for an account I have closed 3 months ago. 🙃 NOW THEY ARE AFFECTING MY CREDIT BY PUTTING ME TO A CREDIT AGENCY....BUYER BEWARE. I CANCELLED THIS IN APRIL OF 2022!!!

It's best to call for service to the house, the issue may or may not be there box itself but the quality of the signal getting to the box can greatly impact your service
It's on the router banana. Log into router with THAT and change it
On one hand that they are an evil sadistic company on the other hand they're not Frontier we need more options
If it's a local DVR tied to your cable box more likely in your box and u stay with optimum no it will not
Call customer service. The number is on your optimum bill or can be looked up easily. Ask for the service department. They should be able to help
Contacted Optimum. Have added several channels that you will have to search to find. They are not going to adjust bill for decreased service. Maybe time to start looking at other networks.
