Less than average casino experience - Visible lack of staff translating into trash on floor and around machines, no wiping down of machines or surfaces. No feeling that this is a safe or secure place to visit as far as public safety. And when you're dropping wads of cash, it's nice to have access to a "free" beverage, even water, soda, or coffee and not have to pay for overpriced drinks out of a vending machine.

Had an absolute blast! The machines were really hittin' last night! Woohoo! Edit: Went from 5 stars to 4 because I went back 12 hours later and gambled away my grandmother's pension on accident. They should have warned me this could happen but they did not. Still a very fun time and staff was very friendly.

Slot Machines here are generic, boring, and don’t pay out well. Also, no FREE water at all. They shut down the water fountains due to “Covid” so if you are thirsty, you will have to dish out $2 for a bottled water. The bartender has water on his wand but refused to give me a cup. No complimentary anything. The place had a slight smell of funk, so I’m not sure how often they clean the chairs, or the carpet. You are better off playing the slots at the gas station down the street. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the security guards were nice and polite. Other than that, skip this place and head a little further North to Wisconsin Dells.

First time to Ho Chunk tonight. Sadly the reviews lived up to what others have experienced. After being in Vegas 6 weeks ago and experiencing the pay outs there, Ho Chunk could learn a few lessons. For as many slots as they have, I was surprised not to see as many as what is in Vegas. I like Quick Hit and I think we found like 4 in the entire building. It is rather disappointing that there are no free drinks like soda/coffee. For as much as folks spend there, that’s the least you can do! Vegas had the same precautions with masks and still had free drinks. Overall, the casino is clean and smoke free. Not sure we will go back any time soon but did end up having a good time overall even thou it feels like we lost a bit $$$. Hope this helps someone else plan your trip.
