My two days at meps went well they were patient and quite helpful at times. I never need worry on where i was supposed to be or what time it was due to the efficiency of the staff and my service office, looking at master sergeant. One word of advice to anyone going for processing, listen to your liason and medical also dont overthink anything just take a deep breathe and you will be ok. Thank you to all the meps personal who make processing and shipping off feel like the easiest transition from civilian to military and do so with a kind smile and a little joking around really helps ease the tension at times

Rude, waste a lot of time doing nothing. Picking on recruits, act like there better then everyone else.

That is correct I am a recruiter for the Nation Guard, no visitor allowed still unfortunately.
No lodging, any overnight stays are taken up at a hotel further down the road. Shuttles provides transport back and forth at the openings and closings of the Jacksonville MEPS location.

So the meps doctors are able to look into an applicants medical records and history.
Physicals are destroyed after two years if the individual does not ship to basic training.
The ceremonies for delayed entry ( not shipplng) start around 1 PM and continue throughout the afternoon.
Ceremonies are done starting at 1300. All branches in the same ceremony. I work here.
