0 out of 5 stars. it made me leave one star😒. i highly do not recommend ever shopping at any big lots store, ESPECIALLY for furniture. my boyfriend and i bought the caylie dinning table set. i ordered a set of 2 chairs since their store only had a set of 2 and not all 4 chairs in stock. which was fine, i paid and was told it would be delivered to the store in about 2 weeks.2 weeks later my boyfriend and his dad go to pick up the table and chairs, as well as a couch that we had ordered. we waited to pick everything up since we hadn’t moved into our apartment yet. the furniture associate explained to my boyfriend that the set of 2 chairs i had ordered “messed up” and explained that we would have to reorder the two chairs. no one ever called to inform either one of us that there had been a mistake made after TWO WEEKS of me paying for the chairs. so my boyfriend ended up reordering the set of 2 chairs since we already had the table and set of 2 chairs that they had in stock. after 14 weeks of calling the store and asking about our order and being told that “we’ll receive it on our next truck”, “we have no information about your order, and/or any information about what will even be on our next truck”, “it will just come when it comes and we will call to let you know”, and “after the 12 week mark, you can receive a full refund for the chairs as well as the chairs that you ordered”. just to be told by the manager that, that isn’t true. the only thing we could do would be to cancel the order and get a refund. the manager explained that he didn’t know why the original associate only told me it would take two weeks, because all associates were supposed to explain to all customers that if they order furniture it would be 8-12 weeks. i eventually called the distribution center in ohio to see if they could give me any information that the store could not since they distribute all merchandise to the surrounding stores. they were just as useless. so even after 14 weeks, the store manger STILL didn’t offer any type of compensation for our time. we ended up having to find two other chairs from target that somewhat matched the two we already had, canceled our order, and receive our refund. absolutely insane, not to mention TERRIBLE customer service. i will never shop at a big lots again in my life for anything. by the way, the two chairs we ordered from target came just a week after ordering them on their website. 😊

Prices are not what they used to be. Just watch what you buy or pay more. Overall a decent place to shop for run of the mill items. However, their stock has recently been sporadic at best, with many, many of the shelves empty.
