Staff was nice but my daughter didn't receive any help from this facility and she's in desperate need due to her mental Condition...In fact I'm at a loss of where to go next.

Awesome staff and informative classes and support groups. The peer support staff is one of a kind! Highly recommend!

I have been a peer at MHG for a little over a year now and they have helped change my life through recovery in a way that I cannot even explain. They have helped reinstall hope in my life and helped me to find a future and a purpose. They have given me multiple opportunities to immerse myself in a helping role by allowing me to volunteer in various capacities at MHG, which I am extremely grateful for. I cannot say enough good things and how much I value the staff and peers at MHG. They have changed my life.

Peer support offers hope. Wellness academy helped me while I was still waiting for my insurance to approve a therapist.

Hi Kelly, no insurance needed! Our support services are free of charge. You would only need to have a brief orientation before beginning. Please give us a call at 336-373-1402 to schedule an orientation. We'll look forward to hearing from you. Cheers!
Hi Damean, Our services are completely free. We only ask that you have a brief orientation before beginning our services. You can schedule that orientation by calling 336-373-1402.
Hi, Renita. As I work for Mental Health Greensboro I can easily answer your question. There are no job openings at this time, but we do have a great 6 month unpaid internship program for newly certified peer support specialists. It offers on the job training for doing orientations/assessments for new peers, doing 1-on-1 peer support, co-facilitating support groups, and facilitating classes. We've recently added WRAP facilitation training as part of our internship program also. We usually require 10 to 20 hours a week commitment as part of the internship and all interns leave with enough credit hours for their 2 year re-certification. If you're interested please call or come by the office to get the dates for our next internship and to find out about the application process! Thanks!
No. You need a licensed psychologist to register an emotional support animal
There are many people in our groups that have bipolar. Please come to our groups and find the one you are comfortable with.
