As I entered I was cheerful welcomed by Jenny who was at the desk . She took my information and directed me to where I could find a large selection of eyeglasses. I then meet Nancy who was equally welcoming. She fitted me with the glasses of my choice. She also went over everything with me,she gave me all my options for my glasses. I highly recommend Visionworks in Bloomfield for excellant caring service.!

Worst experience I've ever had from an eye doctors office. Do not recommend. Went in for a routine exam to get a valid prescription for contact lenses, as mine had expired and I was on my last pair. The doctor tells me that my prescription has changed slightly, so the Dr orders me a trial pair of my usual contact lenses with the updated prescription, fine. After this, it was well over a month until I actually received the single trial pair, after calling every week for an update, I decided to eventually just go elsewhere, got a prescription, ordered the contacts myself online and got them in about two days. The office at this place doesn't care that I was out of contacts, they just kept saying they are "delayed" even though I ended up ordering them myself and got them in 48 hours. Once my trial pair finally arrived (about six weeks after the exam), I decided I might as well go pick them up. Turns out, my prescription didn't even change, they ordered me a "trial" pair of contact lenses for the same exact lenses and prescription that I've been wearing for years, so it was all for nothing, they wouldn't write me a prescription for the same prescription that I've been wearing, I literally wore the same exact contacts during the initial eye examination. No clue what this place is doing but definitely not going back.

I cant get anyone on the phone (for days and days). Therefore I cant fix my prescription. I would not recommend Visionworks.

Staff is very rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I will never go back. My daughter had wanted to come for contact lenses and I had asked them if I could be in the room with my daughter. She is 13. They refused and claimed it was "policy" to not allow me inside the room with my daughter. Uncooperative and rude in handling the situation.

I just want to purchase a frame and lenses (I have prescription). Do I need appointment?
Hello, we do not have any locations yet in the state of CA, our apologies.
The cost is exactly what they advertised. You get real a deal, even with no insurance especially on your first visit, you also get 2 frames basically for the cost of 1, n the eye exam is cheap. Hope that helped. Just go! 😎
It's not mandatory. They try to make it seem as though it is but it is the same optional test they've been offering. Don't let them trick you into it. I had my test done Last week Wednesday and it was pretty coincidental that they tried to charge me $19 for an extra test because of covid but the doctor had no problems putting up testing solution into my eye when she suspected I had an infection.
I would call and ask anyway because with the pandemic they have some protocols in place. So it is possible that you need an appointment just for shopping your new glasses.
No...when you arrive for your appt they do an insurance check. Then you'll see how much out of pocket it is. Medicaid may not cover entire cost.
No. You are able to schedule an appointment or exam without a referral from your primary.
Yes, you can! 😎
