I have been a customer of the Visionworks Totowa store for at least a decade, ever since they acquired the Eye Doctor chain that previously ran the store. I haven’t been thrilled with the quality of their glasses and they charge way, way more for contact lenses than online services I can buy from. I kept going there because of doctors that I liked. But I’m done. I scheduled my most recent visit with the doctor I preferred. I saw her and had to schedule a follow up visit. When I got there I was ushered in to see a different doctor, no explanation given. Then came time to order glasses. I was helped by a pleasant young man who obviously had not been sufficiently trained to do his job. He asked whether I wanted polycarbonate or plastic lenses. I asked the price difference, He didn’t know. I asked if the glasses could be shipped directly to me. He said there would an additional fee. I asked how much. He didn’t know. Next it was time to pick up my glasses. All seemed to go well until I got home and realized they’d made the wrong lenses. I was ordering reading glasses and they used my distance prescription. I don’t know if the whole chain is like this or if this is just a poorly managed srore. I’ll never know because I won’t be going back to find out. And for a little comic relief they emailed me a congratulatory note on getting my first eye exam. Mind you, I’ve been getting exams there since they took over the store.

Please don’t waste your time booking appointment here, all of a sudden they will cancel your appointment for no reason they will not let you know until unless you reach there wasting your time and fuel, I had a appointment at 4:20 pm , 1:30 pm I received a massage your we looking forward to see you at 4:20 pm, when I reach there I came to know my appointment got canceled, it was a weekday, I had to come in between my job, and came to know appointment got canceled, horrible situation, if you don’t want to waste your time and money please don’t take appointment here
