Please be sure to call during the week to make sure whether or not someone will be available to check you child's car seat. Although there are set hours, they are not always open.. Very disappointing. If this is the case, I believe having appointments would be the best course of action for this. Unfortunately, a waste of time.. I later received a call back from the Outreach Unit and they said "why I couldn't go through my local municipality". And gave me another number to call. That is NOT the point! If a program is available for the public, then have it. Don't push the responsibility on someone else.. I seriously hope this program is not grant funded. If it is, the state/gov should reallocate those funds to a more reliable source.
