We did a private lesson with Rick who got us comfortable on our classic/Nordic style skis and taught us the basics. We felt confident enough to spend the rest of the day exploring the trails on our own, and it was a blast! Well-maintained trails and rental equipment.

Gorgeous trails, and the staff were just the best!! Not only did they pull off a minor miracle by enthusiastically getting my group of 5 set up with gear despite running very low amidst a holiday weekend surge, they were extremely helpful and communicative when one member of my group had her shoes accidentally taken by another skier, and they organized getting them back. I was a first-time XC skier and even my bruises and aches can't stop me from raving about how great and welcoming the folks here were. Excited to return on future vacations!

My friends and I had an amazing time. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and kind! They have great gear to rent and to buy and the trails are excellent! For beginners, I recommend budgeting more time than you expect for returning back to the entrance. We found that coming back we were much slower because we kept falling down as the snow got more icy.

Great place to go cross country skiing, it’s not too difficult and they have lessons every day around 10am. They have dog friendly trails too, and they can be off leash while you ski. If you have questions about snow conditions or closed roads I suggest you call because the webpage is not updated daily.
