Nice museum in the heart of coal country with some awesome artifacts. Worth a stop with the family!

They have made major upgrades to this place! My brother and I stopped in just for a quick peek and we're so surprised by how much it had changed. Everything looks amazing and the technology is updated. I highly recommend coming here with the whole family

Really cool spot to learn more about the coal industry. Great balance of what they actually use to mine the coal in addition to what life was like in the coal town days. If you get a chance, attend an event in their connected arts center. Incredibly amazing place with impossibly great acoustics and unique vibe.

Questions & Answers

I there a gift shop, and if so, do they sell children's books?

There is a gift shop which has books. There may be 1-2 kids books, but most are for adults.
