Decent theatre experience, unfortunately we were unable to see our originally planned movie but still got the chance to see another amazing flick. I rate three stars because it seemed like the service was sub-par and the movie started off bad with an audio as well as a 20 minute delay on the movie start while finally having to go back to the service counter in order for them to fix the issue to finally see the movie.

I don't know why every review isn't complaining about this because it happens every time I go here regardless of the movie or projector-any dark scenes are way too dark to see what's happening clearly. I mean any scene at night or in a dark setting is unwatchable. I have only experienced that at this cinema and no others in the area over a long time period. After going to see a movie tonight and being unable to tell what was happening during the scenes at night or in poorly lit areas, I've decided I'll just drive further to visit other cinemas from now on. The convenient location doesn't make up for the poor image quality.

Disappointed that the movie was zoomed in, so not only did it lose quality on screen (looked like the audience was watching a bootlegged version).. but the parts of the movie that required subtitles were literally cut off at the bottom of the screen. You couldn't read them. For as much as movies costs plus drinks & popcorn you shouldn't have to worry about issues with the cinemas camera. 2 stars for the theater.

The volume is WAY TOO LOUD!!! If you value your hearing and healthy eardrums, then this is NOT the place to visit. Usually I add many photos to my reviews. However my visit to Teays Valley Cinemas required holding my ears for most of the movie, which was uncomfortable to say the least. My husband took me for my birthday, so I did not want to seem ungrateful for his thoughtfulness. The theater was way too cold.. Any other time, I would have just left. In the future, this is a hard pass.

They have changed ownership and are in the process of getting all new things set up.
Go to Google type in teays valley cinema and it will tell you.
No, I asked while there over the weekend. They are no longer Frank Theaters.

The kids summer movie program is FREE!!. They have a list of the movies on their website. They aren't new releases but kids enjoy. You can buy a refillable popcorn tub for $20 and refills are only $4 for the rest of 2019. It is a nice cool way to enjoy the summer with kids or grandkids
