When this plague is over, have your family go here.., King Solomon would be proud

Most likely, the only orthodox synagogue in the Greenwich Village area. Founded in 2004 by the deep pockets of the Gindi family, founders of the Century 21 Department store chain.

This place is a gem! I usually pray in the morning and evening in Texas so.I was looking for a shul and this was the only one in the area with daily minyans! I went and everyone was so kind to me! I had to truck about 1 mile to get there but it was worth it. Unfortunately I became ill while in NYC that week for a conference but the days I went were so wonderful! The morning minyaners were so kind! It reminded me of Texas but different. The Hebrew I heard was so fluent and beautiful. I really am a stickler when it comes to accents. I also especially was really happy in my heart to see so many young people-- even younger than me. It was so inspiring. And the shiur during morning prayers and after were illuminating. I wanted to stay unstead of going to my morning sessions. lol I thank the kind twins who helped me understand the New York grid. I never got lost again after they helped me. It was my first time in a Sephardic minyan or any Orthodox morning minyan. I am so grateful to have been able to visit and pray those mornings and sad I became ill. If I ever visit New York again, I will definitely pray at Magen David. Their Rabbi seems a very knowledgeable and kind man. It made the best impression on me of the entire city. It is so important and there are minyans. In all the chaos and straying from haderech HaShem I saw out there in those 7 days, Magen David was a light. May everyone be blessed!
