Staff canβt wear a hair bonnet but administration allows different languages spoken to and among the residents. Where is the priorities?????

Mom seems in good spirits. I want her to get up and move around more instead of just laying in the bed all day. The light over her bed didn't work and the pictures the family gave her we can't put on the wall but they're putting the schedules on the wall with a stapler and leaving the old staples in the wallπ€ makes no sense. Front desk and workers were very nice and the lady that shares the room with mom is very nice too. Editing review: Got a call from the administrator today about my issues at the facility and he told me the issues were taken care of. That was a super fast response AND it wasn't a review reply he actually called me. You have to respect that. I do want the nurses and staff to try and get mom out of the bed but as far as the other issues I'm good with them.

Updating my review for friday night august 12, had a meeting with the administrator about the food issues here. The administrator is a good guy, also in the meeting was the social worker karen, a nice woman. Brought into the meeting was kione, the kitchen supervisor, sorry to say, but he couldnt run his own hot dog stand. He says one thing and does another, he truly shouldn't be working here. His lack of care is evident. Being a diabetic, all I ask for at night for a snack is a simple peanut butter sandwich with no jelly. Well tonight I was given, sugar frosted flakes, truly not good for a diabetic. This has been going on for quite awhile, and has been discussed numerous times. Still nothing changes, and if I do on occasion get a peanut butter sandwich, it comes with jelly on it, and is only half a sandwich. What happened to the other half? I just want a simple whole peanut butter sandwich, no jelly. I try hard to watch my sugar intake, but after the meetings today about this issue, im now getting sugar frosted flakes as a night snack, that is a disgrace. Imagine what the other diabetics are getting here. We need a kitchen supervisor who truly listens to what's being said, and needs to properly act on it. Kione is not that person and needs to be fired for the good of the residents. Nothing personal towards him as a person, but as a supervisor of the kitchen, he is not fit for the job. So my helpful advice is, if you have a loved one who has diabetes, dont send them here. For non diabetics, I would consider other facilities before this one.
