Beautiful campground! One of the nicest we've ever camped at! Beautifully maintained spacious clean campsites and grounds.

Nice clean facilities. Every site is different. Great 3 mile hike through pines and sand dunes to Scott's fire look out. Dump station and water fill. UTV trails.

Nice campground right on the middle loup river and right off hwy easy to get too. Nic shower house all individual rooms with full bathroom. Multiple camp loops all full on summer weekend. Large grassy area with picnic tables. Short drive to Scott look out fire tower you can climb. Closest town theford 14 miles west has small grocery store and there are two gas stations and restaurant. Power up sites are $11 a night and no power sites $8 a night. The trains go by about 15 plus times a day and each one blows there whistle 4 times and it is very close so very loud. This is a big ATV or ohv area so a lot of all kinds of four-wheelers and motorcycles riding around campground. They can be a little loud too. The biggest down for me was tiny area to access the river. It is very cool river shallow and Sandy but not much area to get to river.

OHV are regularly used by people here amd there are trails for them as well. Generally, as long as they aren't parked in common parking areas, it seems they are welcome.
Yes
There is a location on the east end of the campground. I don't know if you need to be a camper but I found this entry area last year.
There are 3 hotels /motels in the area. The closest is the Frontier Inn. You would have to call them to see if they allow pet's.
It has electrical
Seen big 5th wheels with 20 ft trailers in there
