Father Larry, Bishop Wcela, Deacons Peter, Bill & Dan and all the people within the ministries there are very welcoming and loving people and Renee's music ministry creates the perfect atmosphere and excitement for celebrating the mass. This is the perfect "hometown church" where everyone is made to feel welcome and at home.

St. John the Evangelist is located in Riverhead, New York. It is one of three Catholic churches in Riverhead. Father Larry Dunklee is the pastor. It is a wonderful parish with many wonderful and involved parishioners. I moved to Riverhead in 1982. The very first time I entered the church I felt welcome. This has been my home parish ever since. All are welcome here.
