Another park that we loved and plan to come back to! Wide spots to camp with WE. If you can't get a reservation they have 12 spots that are FF and a few of these are on top of the hill with great views of the entire lake. Boat ramp nearby and two dump stations. It's a great park.

Very clean camping site, very busy with boaters I. Summer. Plenty of births, electricity available
Backwoods WRX
Good clean ACE campground. 9 bucks a night if you have the geezer, or gimp pass. 30 amp power where we stayed, but they had full hookups if you are in need. The place is windy and hot, but the lake is a nice place to cool off. Labor day got a little rowdy, and most folks don't seem to pay mind to leash rules for the dogs, but it clears out after the holiday and you get great 4g reception with verizon.

The Minooka camping area is closed for the season to manage repairs from storms. I am not sure how this will affect trails, and the other parks on the lake may be open (e.g. Sylvan, Wilson). We needed a place to camp for one night and found a small tent spot up on the loop by the showers at the top of the hill (this area is also closing on Friday the 5th). Pretty views, has water and bathrooms, lovely breeze at night.

Past main bath house, Northern part of loop
Info from Recreation.gov https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/233554 Sites are walk up now I believe. Services may not be available once the reservation window is closed for the season.
The firepits do have grates on them but I'd recommend bringing your own grill if possible
The website says you can use 2 tents or 1 tent plus camper
Yes we are here in our 35' fifth wheel. Plenty of big rigs here too.
