I visited Fromer Eye Center in Forest Hills and currently filling multiple complaints with Medicare and NYS Dept. of Health. The experience I encountered where I could have lost my eyesight due to negligence and Dr. Fromer or his sister were very unsympathetic to what occurred. So much that when I complained in April I was sent a letter to seek a different doctor to finish what they had commenced. During a Covid Emergency the office was standing room only. Appointments were never at the time stated and I do not recommend that people attend this practice. I have no bad feelings towards the staff as many of the people at the desk are very formal and nice and so are some of the doctors at the office. Both dr. Fromer and his sister are treating people like if this was an assembly line, with disregard for their safety and only interested in making money and spending little to provide great service. I was able to find another doctor on Queens Blvd. East of 102nd Street on South side of Queens Blvd. He was very professional and his office was never as crowded as Dr. Fromer's office with seldom waiting more than 15 minutes past appointment time. Was Operated by Dr. Rosenblum on both eyes, where Dr. Fromer's office personnel had stated a month earlier that they were very busy and could not do the surgery as there was a wait time of more than 2 to 3 months. Please reconsider utilizing this doctor as there are many others including former doctors that worked for Dr. Fromer.

I waited 50-60 min for the initial exam. Go to 3 different exam rooms for different testing, no on explain the purpose for and then more waiting. Got there at 0126 left at 0410pm. Every year it get longer. I still got here because all my records are there and the technicians are very good at their jobs.

Wait period was a bit long.I just finished dialysis and then went to the eye center just for them to check my eye but I had to wait 2.30 hrs.I had to go after dialysis because Dr.Wong only goes to Forrest Hill office on Mondays and my dialysis treatment are Mon.Wed and Fri.Very disappointed. The receptionist can be a little rude sometimes. Other than that the service is not too bad.I have been going there for the past 4yrs.
