A little bit of everything here. We stopped in while riding our bikes on a drizzly day for some snacks and a chance to rest before pedaling our way up to Valentine.

Not always open, but very early in the "season" so probably didn't need to be. Very helpful when someone's motorhome sank in the sandy road in the campground. Also gave excellent directions to the waterfalls and 4 wheeling trails.

I love the lake and the big fish. I've got double figures in walleye master anglers from Merritt. With the cabins being the only lodging option on the lake, thank God for them. John and his family are really nice but for almost $800 for 4 days we need breakfast and a place to moor your boat to get 5 stars
