Lots of nasty flies! People complained about kids being in the hot tub, kids get cold and want to warm up and there were no adults in the hot tub... one loud mouth, complaining old lady complains and they put up a sign threatening to charge a $300 fine if kids go in the hot tub!!! BS Bunch of Karen's this time! People are never happy! People complained about playing corn hole...The resort itself is ok. The workers are cool and I know they did not like reporting from the crybabies!

This "resort" did not have some things it advertised on their website, like bathrooms and showers. The portapotty they did provide was full. No Internet or cell service. It is a place for families to ride their ATVs, which I'm glad they have their time but I do not care for the regular parades of ATVs with political banners. Also loud parties that went on until after midnight. Never saw a campground manager or had any welcome or farewell. So a good place for ATVs not those looking for a quiet, peaceful time in nature. Too bad because it is a beautiful place.

Great family place, especially with the pool. Able to ride right out of the park in you RZR and other off road toys.

Walker River Resort is clean, has great river access with a store nearby and a swimming pool and nice adult hot tub. We know a group that brings their employees together mid May and a boatload of people who go throughout Spring and Fall. Nevadans who love Nevada. The website advertises a bath house. There is none. There is a dump station on the property and few available sites with full hook-ups. If you think you are paying for a place to shower outside of your RV- or you are tent camping, it's a no go.

Tent camping is no longer available in the Resort. If you have children or grandchildren that want to sleep in a tent on your RV site, that is allowed.
The entire area is a range just please be careful of your surroundings and shoot into hillsides not open areas
Closed October 1st.
Haven't stayed in one of their cabins so I can't answer your question. I'm sure if you call Walker River Resort they can answer your question.
Pool and hot tub are now closed for the winter. Thank you for asking. The swimming pool and hot tub are available mid-May to mid-September each year.
Cottages are available. You could reserve one in advance. Or you could stay with friends in a RV. Thanks for asking.
The HeyDay restaurant is 11 miles west to Wellington. Also, Rosie’s Mexican restaurant is in Wellington. CG Bar serves pizza, wings and corn dogs. Iggy and Squiggy’s Junction Bar at Holbrook is 18 miles and serves tacos, hamburgers etc. lots of good bar food. Topaz Lodge is 22 miles. Many restaurants in Yerington are good. Thanks for asking.
Right now, the West Walker River is in flood stage. There is no fishing because of the high water. In the fall, fly fishing is excellent for Rainbow and German Brown trout.
Yes is dog's friendly so I always take my two Huskies, when we camping and they love it and me too🤗🤗🤗
You can get a fire pit from the office. They are old washing machine tubs that you can take to your campsite. I think it is a $60 deposit to make sure that you return it. .
You should get a reservation
4.5 hours.
We are planning a costume party and chili cook off. Along with that, we have a RV decorating contest and a sporting clays fun shoot. The hot tub will close when we close the pool. Usually mid September. Reservations are going fast!
The Resort sells propane Friday - Sunday between 2-3 in the afternoons. Or you can leave your tank at the dispenser and it will be filled during the day. Pay in the Resort office or at the bar.
