This place is incredible! So many gluten free options and they take great caution if it is an allergy without making it awkward. (If you have allergies, you know how important and rare that is!) The food is delicious, the waitstaff is spot on and the atmosphere is comfortable. Try the peanut butter and chocolate gf cake - you'll be happy you did!

Any time I come to Boone I stop by here. If not more than once. I have eaten at so many places in my life and I still consider this my favorite. I love the boats. Taos, cactus and barbados are my favorite. We also always get the salsa sampler. Pictured is cactus with cornbread instead of rice and added chipotle cream cheese(full). Strongly recommend!

Excellent restaurant in Boone NC, very friendly staff, came with a 11 person group and they were able to seat us quickly and accommodate all of us! The food was incredible, everything on their menu looks amazing, I got the Yucatán and that was so well flavored and well balanced, the salsas were also really neat and unique Don’t forget to get the homemade cake too! Incredible place, would recommend to anyone in Boone

Coyote Kitchen is in a great location. Easily accessible with plenty of shopping nearby, and the truly giant Walmart across the parking lot makes it easy to find. Anyway, my group of four really enjoyed our meal and our time there together. The water was actually some of the best water I think I’ve ever had in my entire life. I ate half of a burrito. I was a little disappointed to find out they didn’t really have any coyotes working in the kitchen, especially given the name and the prominent graphics throughout the establishment, but the booths are spacious and the wait staff is friendly so that made up for it.

Open Year round and no reservations needed
No chain. I wish
I'd say they are better than most and as good as anyone. We were very pleased. Tables had been removed to create space, customers must wait outside their small lobby and enter one-at-a-time. Staff cleaned each table twice before new customers were seated. All staff wore masks and wore them correctly. The only thing I've seen better anywhere else is clear plexiglass between tables, but the tables weren't as far away at that restaurant as they are at Coyote Kitchen.
